The opening music to the skull was written in the style of plainsong and the lyrics are taken from the Requiem mass. This fits the period of the opening of the play.

Lizzey Ross and Lloyd Degler visited Phoenix Studios, recently, to record this music.

Plainsong is not their usual style so they put in a lot of time rehearsing before they laid down the track. We are very grateful for the dedication and perfectionism they brought to the project.
