We were excited to take part in The 48 Film Festival this year.

The 48 Film Festival is a global event that happens in more than 100 cities cross the world. In each city teams compete to make a film from scratch in 48 hours.

We took part in the Toronto challenge working with a team put together by Slate It Media and Within Light and Darkness Productions.

It all starts with a team member picking a genre out of a hat and being given elements of the film – a character, a line of dialogue and a prop, all of which must feature in the film. The team then has 48 hours to write a script, cast, film, edit and create a soundtrack before submitting the film by the deadline.

Our teams film became “Recipe For Two”.

It was an exciting weekend.

The finished film was screened at the festival in Toronto.
