In the spring and summer of 2021, with the studio closed to the public, we decided to put together a series of short films about different aspects of Anglesey. We wanted to have a vehicle for writing and recording music other than song.

When you use landscapes, history and place as an inspiration the music you produce is very different and varied.

We are not filmmakers, and we spent the spring and summer armed with mobile phones and a tripod travelling round Anglesey collecting footage that we plan to edit into a series of short films that we will then use as an inspiration to write music.

Our subjects are varied and reflect the richness and diversity of Anglesey, past and present, through our eyes. Still very new to the Island we are still explorers, and we hope our fascination will be expressed in these films.

We are working on them as time allows and have completed our first one.
